I’ve been traveling to Singapore once every year for the past 7 years, except in 2007, when I was jobless and waiting for the bar results to come out. As I’ve openly said before, it’s my second favorite Asian country (next to the Philippines, of course). Not that I’ve been in a lot of Asian countries, but it’s the default country I’d like to go to when I’m planning for a quick getaway. It’s small enough, very easy to get around in, and the best part is, there’s always someone there who’s available (and willing? hehe) to tour me around. I know several people who find Singapore quite boring and who opt to fly to Hong Kong instead. But I go on vacation mostly to relax, so it’s perfect for me.
These are some snapshots from my recent trip to Singapore when I went there for the Laneway Festival, plus a few leftover shots from our trip last year, using my DSLR, iPhone, and La Sardina film camera.
I’m proud that my tour guide, Grace, and I were able to cover a lot, considering I only had two days in Singapore.

Hi Lianne! Aia here from Firestarter! Naiinggit ako. Nakapunta kang LF! Andun pa Yeah Yeah Yeah. Haha! Sabagay yun lang kilala ko sa line up for this year. Lived there for 8 mos (2011-2012) and was planning to go to LF, kaso walang kasama at kulang ang pera. Hahaha! And now I miss SG so much!
