I’m Lianne and I’m in the “family business” – creating memories and documenting milestones for families.

I know how awkward it is to be in front of the camera and how taxing it is to gather everyone for family portraits, so my goal is always to make my shoots as fun and relaxed as possible. My photography style is mostly lifestyle and documentary, and I like working with natural light or any venue with ample lighting. I prefer shooting at outdoor locations, especially if there are kids, so they have a lot of room to play in.

I’ve been a professional photographer for more than 11 years, but I’ve developed my craft as a photographer or documenter for over 20 years. I’ve always been intent on capturing memories in school or with my own family, documenting my nieces and nephews as they were growing up, taking lots of photos and videos during family vacations and gatherings. I started with a clunky film camera and a home camcorder.

In 2008, my brother gave me a Nikon D40 which kept me busy while I was waiting for the bar exam results. It wasn’t until 2009 when I started doing professional wedding photography and fell in love with it. In 2011, I started doing more family and kids photography. I’m a kid at heart and I love working with kids so this genre is perfect for me.
