It’s been years since I last did mini-sessions. I wasn’t intent in doing one soon, but when I visited Casa Amores in Quezon City early this year, I knew I had to arrange one at that venue.
Mini-sessions are different from my regular sessions since they are usually themed shoots, with a specific setup or backdrop. They are also much shorter – each session is less than an hour. It might seem a bit too tight, but for small groups, a lovely portrait session does not require a massive time commitment. All we need is a beautiful space, ample lighting, and room for the subjects to breathe and relax in. Casa Amores checks all the boxes.
Sharing some photos from our session with the Ashima family, who brought so much vibrant energy to the frame.
