This is the first time I’ve covered a prenup/engagement session (or any other shoot for that matter) outside the country. I’ve wanted to post these photos since last year, but Erika requested me to wait until after the wedding. She told me she’ll be showing some of the photos at the reception and she wanted it to be a surprise. Ricky and Erika got married last February 10, so I can post these now. ๐Ÿ™‚
Last year, Jetstar had a ticket sale again and I grabbed the opportunity to go visit Singapore for the nth time, this time, on my own. I had no itinerary planned, so I thought of doing an engagement shoot for my high school friend, Erika, and her fiance, Ricky, who are both based in Singapore. Initially, they had no plans of having an engagement shoot, but they later on warmed up to the idea of dressing up a little and having their photos taken around Singapore. They prepared three outfits, complete with props, and decided to have the engagement shoot at three different locations. This is part 1 of 3, where I took photos of them as they strolled along Orchard Road.
I really had a lot of fun at this shoot and I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to shoot in one of my favorite countries ever. Thank you Ricky and Erika for being so game at the shoot ๐Ÿ™‚

They had their photos taken in front of this sculpture made by Fernando Botero, an artist from Ricky’s home country, Colombia.ย

This is the part where it rained a bit outside so we took shelter at a nearby mall:

So glad the skies cleared up so we had more time to shoot outside:

I love Ricky’s reaction here. Haha:

Apparently, it was World Kindness Day that day. Nice timing:

Tired from the shoot, Ricky and Erika had this for dessert:
